Is the future of authentication continuous identity assurance with biometrics?

How can you ensure your users are who they claim to be after initial onboarding and KYC?

In this FID Chats interview, Dean Stevenson, Pre-Sales Director at leading privacy-preserving biometric authentication company, Keyless, discusses the future of authentication and user data protection.

Dean highlights the problems with traditional authentication, with individual tools adding up to MFA just for compliance or basic security reasons. He believes the future lies with continuous identity assurance with the help of biometrics.

However, outdated biometric authentication puts user data at risk, with companies needing to store a photo, biometric template, or hash, all of which are vulnerable to cybersecurity threats. Keyless enrolls their users without having to store their biometric data through a one-way cryptographic transformation of the data on the users device, giving them control.
